I know it is not Wednesday, but lets just pretend that the "W" stands for weekend.
First things first, Breakfast. The most important meal of the day. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I am always starving by the time I get up. I have never, ever skipped breakfast. Some of my friends at school talk about not eating breakfast. How is that humanly possible? I wake up with a grumbling stomach every morning. lol
This was a good breakfast week for me. I managed to clean out 2 peanut butter jars in one week..... you know what that means. ;)
Moving on to lunch. Now that the weather is getting warm out, I only crave summer food. To me nothing says summer like grilled food and colorful veggies.
Since it is Memorial Day weekend, my dad decided to smoke some meat for the holiday. Fine by me! He smoked some brisket and pork tenderloin. The pork was phenomenal and thankfully there was plenty of leftovers for the next day.
Finally, last but certainly not least, snacks! I love protein bars and muffins because they are portable and the perfect amount to hold me over until dinner.
